The environment changes with the development of human activity, which directly threatens human life because of the effects accompanying the development of polluting industries. In response to stakeholder pressures, many companies have taken several actions to reduce the negative impacts of their activities on the environment. Based on the theory of the importance of integrating environment in the strategy of industrial companies, and that any awareness in this field is reflected in actions for the environment, the researchers wonder through this research about the effectiveness of environmental policies adopted by the Tunisian industrial companies. To evaluate the effectiveness of environmental policies in the industrial sector in Tunisia, the researchers conducted an exploratory study with a sample of Tunisian industrial companies. Thus, the paper was divided into three parts. The first one will discuss the theoretical concepts related to the environmental awareness and the strategic actions witch can be taken for environmental protection. In the second part, we will present the exploratory study conducted within a sample of industrial firms to evaluate their environmental policies. For small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in Australia the ability to regularly produce new \r\nand/or innovative products or services for the marketplace can help ensure organisational \r\nsurvival. This ability to regularly produce products requires a firm to focus on both creativity \r\nand innovation. The research reported in this paper investigates entrepreneurial perspectives \r\ntoward the creativity and innovation processes within Australian technology SMEs. Following a \r\ngrounded theory approach aligned to the interpretive paradigm this research undertook 21 \r\ninterviews drawing on 23 individuals from 19 organisations. In relation to the ability to \r\nproduce new products, two main themes emerged from the interviews, firstly the role of \r\nentrepreneurship and entrepreneurs and secondly entrepreneurial leadership practices. From \r\nthe research findings and discussion it can be ascertained that creativity, innovation and \r\nleadership practices are the foundations on which entrepreneurs thrive. This paper traces the historical background of nationalisation in South Africa and examines the views of the ANC\r\nYouth League in the light of the current debate on nationalization in South Africa. It draws lessons from the Zambian\r\nexperience and put them into perspective. It is observed that nationalisation is usually followed by privatization and\r\nthen renationalization. The requirement of a 60% stake in mining companies is significantly high and deters investors\r\nas they are unable to get a controlling interest in their own companies from the onset. A growing body of academic research has examined the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education with the aim of raising students� awareness of self-employment as a career option and creating an enterprising culture amongst them. The move towards self-employment is, and will continue to become, an increasingly important element of economic growth and development. This paper aims to explore and investigate entrepreneurship education at Botswana�s two universities to determine and evaluate its effectiveness. In the process of selecting the research population, 400 students were identified within two universities. A convenient sampling approach was used to select the respondents and a self-administered questionnaire with closed questions was used to collect data. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education is not appropriately developed in Botswana to effectively equip students with entrepreneurial skills and competencies that will help them to choose entrepreneurship as a career option. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the state of entrepreneurship education in Botswana to create a platform for further research in the area of entrepreneurship education, particularly at higher education level. Enterprises face mounting challenges in three generic sustainability domains that form the basis of the so-called triple bottom line: economic sustainability, societal sustainability, and environmental sustainability. In most instances, it is the primacy of economic sustainability that is emphasized since an enterprise that is not economically secure does not survive. Despite the importance of sustainability''s economic dimension, increasing regulatory requirements taken together with societal demands are forcing enterprises to address both their impact on the natural environment and their contribution to society. Indeed, taken together these considerations form a sort ''holy trinity'' that are necessary as both singular and joint considerations for enterprises striving to be continuously relevant and responsible. Environmental impacts and societal contributions can take many forms and thus far the environmental and societal challenges facing enterprises have, when considered comprehensively, outpaced the capability of enterprises to successfully address them. Since enterprises must be economically sustainable, an enterprise excellence approach supported by various international quality award models and criteria is herein recommended. This is augmented with emphasis on strategic, high-speed integration and deployment of sustainable innovation and innovation for sustainability.
